The Case Based Cardiovascular Disease Atlas is presented now free of charge. Please do not hesitate to find the outlines of the atlas.

PROJECT PURPOSE & SCOPE

The purpose of this project is to share images and videos of rare cardiology cases.

The atlas is comprised of the illustrations on cardiovascular system anatomy and physiopathology and the readings of normal cardiovascular system and diseases including congenital heart diseases from various imaging methods.

Users have the liberty of sharing their videos, pictures and cases and contributing to the development of the atlas.


INTRODUCTION TO THE ATLAS

The atlas is free of charge for the members of the Cardiovascular Academy Club.

CARDIOVASCULAR ACADEMY CLUB MEMBERSHIP

You may become a member of the Cardiovascular Academy Club via the links below. Registration and membership is free of charge.

Young cardiologists from Estonia, Poland and Romania (the Young Cardiologists of Estonia, the Club 30 of the Polish Cardiac Society, the Romanian Young Cardiologist Group) are accepted as a member, for the moment.


CONDITIONS FOR FREE USE

Turkish and international users can use the atlas free of charge now.

The following conditions must be met by any young cardiologists group from abroad so that they can continue free use of the atlas:

  1. Having submitted 10 materials (images, videos or case reports) from all members in a country within a year via “Share your Cases” (irrespective of acceptance or rejection)
  2. Having submitted 10 papers/case reports from all members in a country within a year to the IJCA (the International Journal of Cardiovascular Academy) (irrespective of acceptance or rejection)

    NOTE:
    The paper/case report submissions will be evaluated in an objective fashion by the referees of the IJCA. Having sent submissions by the members of these groups does not mean that they will be accepted or treated in a favorable way.

Significant amount of the images, illustrations and videos are provided by Patrick J. Lynch and C. Carl Jaffe from Yale University.

The providers do not impose any limitations on the commercial/individual use or reproduction of content. Any quotation must contain the following reference: “CC Patrick J. Lynch and C. Carl Jaffe, Yale University, 2006”.

Permission must be received in relation to other materials emanating from other organizations, institutions or individuals.
